What to Bring

Bring your own food and drink. We keep a safe boat so please drink alcohol responsibly. There is a large Yeti cooler with ice on board. (NO GLASS bottles or containers.)

Bring your own child sized PFD/life jacket unless prior arrangements have been made with us. ALL children 12 and under are required by law to wear a (PFD) at all times while on board.

Dress for the weather. Remember the old New England weather saying, "Don't like the weather? Just wait five minutes." Even summer weather can change rapidly here on the west coast of New England. Therefore please consider bringing an extra layer for cool breezes or rain showers and sunscreen to ward off the sun's rays.

No pets (other than service animals with proper papers).

No drugs (including cannabis) - the Quinella is a drug free vessel.

MARRIAGE CEREMONIES

Yes, you can get married or renew your vows on the Quinella. Capt. Greg is ordained & licensed to officiate weddings. So if a (really) small and intimate wedding ceremony, in one of Vermont's most beautiful locations, is what you're looking for then please contact us for details. Also available for a special grand entrance, wedding pictures and/or recessional.

CANCELLATION POLICY

To confirm a reservation a $100 deposit is required at time of booking. If you cancel more than 14 days in advance of your trip date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel 7-14 days in advance of the trip, we will refund 50% of your deposit + transaction. If you cancel less than 7 days in advance, your deposit becomes non-refundable.

If the captain determines that it is necessary to cancel a charter due to weather or other operational concerns you will receive a full refund or you can reschedule to a different cruise. Passenger behavior determined by the captain to be unsafe may result in a loss of refund should the charter need to be cancelled or curtailed.

ACCESSIBILTY

​Boarding the Quinella requires stepping up and over a low gunwale. There are two short flights of steep steps to access the cabin. Please let us know if you would like more information.

FACILITIES​

​There is a small marine "head" on board the Quinella. We advise guests to use the onshore facilities at the Burlington Boathouse or near the parking lot prior to boarding.​

TIPPING​

If you are satisfied with you charter we encourage you to tip the crew. Tips are generally 10-20% of the fare.​

PARKING
-
There are pay-to-park lots at the intersection of College and Lake Streets. We recommend the city managed Pease Lot (highlighted below). There is also metered street parking along Lake Street and in the area.​
